Which in my opinion is so the faculty do have to do their job or any extra!I bought a house in the neighborhood adjacent to the school.I was not told that transportation for the elementary school was not provided for our housing addition. Told where bus stop was,not that it was only for Middle and High School kids. We have a drop off next to the school or the kids have to walk,the school has refused to provide a crossing guard (15 minutes twice a day) so that our children may arrive safely at school.Kids have almost been hit by speeding cars repeatedly.The designated drop off is utilized by other neighborhood parents who are running late and don't want to wait in the drop off line (which is always backed up due to lack of streamline procedure/access) as they speed through our neighborhood of walkers.The buses don't have any pick-ups in the neighborhood speed through to avoid the 4 way stop traffic.Called for 3 year straight and no resolution.If you want a free glorified daycare, Bridgeport is your place. If you want your child engaged and challenged, look elsewhere. State rating 4/10.
