5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does not handle truancy. Instead, they talked me into transferring to an alternative school. Truancy happened again and George Washington said he couldn't come back. DPS gave me no options for schooling. My son was 15. I sent him to live with his noncustodial dad and that blew up in my face. They lost their home and ended up on the street. My son refuses to come home and wants to live in a youth shelter. DPS did this. They didn't allow him to attend anywhere nor correct the truancy. Nobody has listened to me or care. I contacted so many ppl in DPS with zero answers over the course of an entire year while working a full-time job and raising another child.
