For instance, a teacher may grant one student permission for a specific activity while denying another under similar circumstances. This inconsistency not only undermines student trust but also creates confusion and frustration.The administrative team appears to struggle with organization and communication. Frequent miscommunication and unclear policies contribute to an environment where students feel unsupported and undervalued. Besides the principal the communication is horrible! I left a review on google. This year for my child has just left a sour taste.

Looking at the test scores for this school tells you a lot. My child required specialized services which the school always fought back on. Any complaint was met with resistance and retaliation. The staff became rude to me and we eventually left the school which is the best choice I could have made. My child was supposedly doing well and making As and Bs at Thornton even though he had trouble on his standardized testing. When he arrived at his new school he was so far behind and his teachers were shocked he had not received specialized services sooner. He is now getting the services he deserves at a school that actually cares about its students.
