Room Description

Spacious house with a great backyard located in a quiet upscale neighborhood in Elkridge. Close to BWI (~10 minute drive), DC (~30 minute drive), and Baltimore (~20 minute drive). The available room is about 9 1/2 by 10 1/2 with a decent size closet. The kitchen, dining & living room are all furnished and are shared common areas. Washer & dryer on site in the basement. There are only 1.5 baths in the house so they are both shared.

Current Roommates:
One non-binary who works in person 6am-4pm.
One female that works varying hours during the day.
One male who works hybrid.

We are all pretty quiet and keep to ourselves but are friends and hang out in the evenings. We keep the common areas clean. We're looking for someone who is clean, respectful and LGBT+ friendly.

All lease terms considered but prefer month to month or 6 months to start. Can extend to yearly after you've been there for a few months. The current tenants have been there for 3+ years. New tenant must be LGBT friendly. Great for students or professionals. Proof of income, security deposit and background check are required. Utilities included. There is a dog on the property so you must be dog friendly! The dog will be in the shared common areas. No cats or other dogs allowed.

  • 8will4
"It’s a nice area.... kids behave, people pick up trash. No homeless people standing around either. i would tell people it’s worth it overall"

"Lots of families, people always out walking their dogs, often have yard sales in the warm months and kids with lemonade stands- love this area and the commute to Baltimore "
  • Shawn B.
"Easy access to i95 for commuting. There are a lot of options for dining, groceries, and shopping. The area seems to be up and coming as there is a lot of new construction. "
  • MJL
"There are dog parks near by. They have a lot of trails, more then enough parks. Everyone has a dog so your furry friend will have lots of friends to play with. Trust me you will love the area. But be mindful of ticks and all those creepy creatures. Howard county in general is very wooded, but still a great place to have a dog."
  • MJL
"You always see people walking there dogs around. There are waste bins everywhere. They have a lot of open green areas for puppies to play. There is a dog park located somewhere in elkridge."
  • Jamiedavis04
"I love the location of the house I live in. It is off the beaten path and feels like I am living in the woods."
  • Aja R.
"This is a quiet, ethnically diverse neighborhood. I specifically chose to move here due to its low crime rate and close proximity to amenities and the highways. The people are friendly and we all take pride in keeping the community maintained. "
  • MJL
"I would say what makes my neighborhood unique is that fact people are really friendly, it’s very diverse, and it’s a convenient location "
