What Locals Say about Woodstock

  • Aiyana J. h.
"Most neighborhoods in Woodstock don't have sidewalks so walking dogs or going for a jog can be dangerous. "
  • Tim M.
"This is a beautiful area to live in. You get the ultimate in privacy and seclusion while still being close to major city centers: 25 min to Baltimore (downtown), 15 min to Ellicott City/Columbia, and 45 min to Washington D.C."
  • Bjlee3
"Great family-oriented neighborhood. Many options for outdoors recreation. Top-notch schools. "
  • Laurianne B.
"Granite is a wonderful town, a tiny historic treasure that is truly unique. While close to everything, Granite retains its historic charm and rural character because Old Court Road, the main thoroughfare, cannot be widened to increase traffic, and public water and sewer is not available. That means wider open spaces, plus close proximity to the state park. While public schools are a problem here, if you can navigate the magnet school programs or private schools or homeschool, you'll find better home prices than Howard County, but with way more charm."
