Applicant Selection Criteria: Housing provider welcomes all voucher holders and complies fully with the DC Human Rights Act. To qualify, self-paying applicants must demonstrate a verifiable gross monthly income of at least 3 times the monthly rent. For applicants utilizing a housing subsidy (such as Housing Choice/Section 8), the gross monthly income requirement is 3 times the tenant's individual responsible out-of-pocket portion of the rent. All applicants aged 18 and older must complete a rental application, submit to a non-refundable screening fee, provide 3 months of consecutive income verification, and meet a minimum credit score threshold of 700. Background and rental history checks will be performed uniformly. The security deposit is exactly one month's rent.
