6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children attended all four years Spring Valley. The opportunities are endless! They can choose from basic CP classes to a wide array of AP courses depending on what best suits their needs. The teachers are accommodating, kind, and willing to work with all students, as they genuinely care about the students they teach. The principal goes above and beyond what is required for parents and students when an issue or need arises. There are a variety of clubs and athletics for anyone looking to be involved. Tutoring is available for all students if ever needed. I truly believe if your child is not successful at Spring Valley, it's due to a lack of initiative on the students part. Everything they need for success is at their fingertips, they just have to take the initiative to better themselves. I highly recommend Spring Valley and am grateful for the education they provided to my now young adults.Parent Review1y ago - Pontiac Elementary School

The staff at the school has been very helpful and made the transformation for my son very easy. "Quiet. There are a number of dogs in the area but they aren’t loose. This neighborhood feels like home."

"Dogs are welcomed and loved throughout the neighborhood. We have 2 and they love it here. Plus most dog owners clean up."

"No sidewalks to walk dogs but most people are courteous enough to slow down while driving past people out walking their animals. However there are also several people who do not respect speed limits and drive way too fast for comfort. Not only on the back roads (which are usually 45-50 mph), but even in some of the neighborhoods too which are marked at 35 mph or slower. So it just depends on the specific area. Also it’s the country so people let their pets roam free which can occasionally cause issues for those walking leashed dogs. "

"There isn’t a dog park and there are not many dogs in our specific subdivision. I don’t own pets and I honestly don’t know what dog owners would like and not like about our neighborhood."

"Ive lived here for 16 years. This neighborhood is very friendly and we all care about each other. We take care of our properties and we will take care of our neighbors property when they are hurt or ill. Everyone rides golf carts and walks their dogs. It’s really great. "

"they're allowed. I have mine in a nice environment. on the back patio screened in in a large kennel. shaded. easy to keep clean. hes out of the heat. and the bugs cant get to him. he cant get into the ant killer I put down outside his pen. easy to bathe him. bugs dont get in his food. he has his own little living area. and that's one of the big things I'm looking for when buying a home. during the winter I can close it off to the winter elements and heat it. he has a house and bed. and plenty of room to play with all his toys and it gave him room to get to know my niece. I'm so glad his able to be apart of our family."
