Summit Parkway Middle School

My children have attended for two years now and we have open communication with teachers and staff. They are very appreciative of parents who are involved.

My child is in Kindergarten and she loves Killian elementary. Mrs. Martin is a very great teacher. My child is now reading and writing, etc. I really see a huge progress in her as opposed to before she started this school. Mrs. Martin also shows great concern when it comes to her students. She always reaches we need be. I have no complaints so far.

Bullying is a major issue with strong aggressive behaviors in these children. The principal allows this behavior to go on. Fighting (girls and boys) on the playground. Please do not send your children there.

This is an AMAZING school! I was there from kindergarten to 5th grade and it was really fun! The teachers are nice and their teaching strategies and rules are very good. The students there are really respectful and I didn't see any bullying there. I wish I could be at this school again because everyone was just friendly and I'm so glad I made so many good memories there! I would so recommend this school!

My daughter has had the privilege of attending North Springs Elementary for six wonderful years. The principle is very friendly and a true leader who cares about his students safety and well being. The staff in the office is top notch. They go out of their way to help in any way possible. North Springs has awesome teachers. When my daughter needed help in math, her teachers gave her extra help that truly mad the difference. I will forever be appreciative for all their efforts in my daughter's education. I would like to thank Mrs. Cobb, Mrs. Washington and Mrs. Dial for being such great teachers. They are very caring and go the extra mile that is so unexpected. They really are the best teachers. I'm really going to miss this school.

My child was jumped by 2 other children. I was only aware of the situation by the nurse. Not the principal or his teacher. Even though this happened during the end of school the children were still allowed to go get on the bus to go home. There parents should have been called to pick them up and be fully aware immediately. The children punishment was in school suspension which is a light punishment for bullying and fighting. His teacher is often absent or leaving early and my son tells me often he had a substitute teacher. There has been a situation where I called the school and told them I will pick him up and when I came to get him he wasn't there. They let him walk home when I called ahead of time letting them know I was coming to pick him up. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

Full Gospel Christian Academy is an excellent Christian school and its administration and teachers have the students at heart both spiritually and academically. So far, it has been a great experience for us to watch our sons learn and grow and we're eternally grateful for the entire staff for instilling this love of learning in our sons. They have a great foundation to build on and we look forward to the future! Way to go FGCA!!!
