"I lived here for 6 years and it was great! I just started realizing the neighborhood isn’t as safe as it used to be. "
    • Karim Outlaw
"Greenville unfortunately is the forgotten district of Jersey City because the mayor loves to focus on east district (downtown) and north district (heights). Even the policing is different."
    • Trulia User
"They wouldn’t like the glass littered streets, but they might enjoy Liberty state park with its green space."
    • Trulia User
"The stray cats that try and attack my dog is annoying but I just feel bad that there are so many of them"
    • Trulia User
"This neighborhood is nosey and adults don’t know how to mind their business. Constantly watching cameras and making people feel uncomfortable. Always hang outs and cops on every corner. Not a good place to raise children or a peace of mind. "
    • Trulia User
"The Lincoln Park has different events especially during summer. The park is lively because of the events happening."
    • Trulia User
"Sometimes there are events held at the park by the Richard street lightrail station, free food pantry at local churches but that’s about it with this area."
    • Trulia User
"It’s the hood to put it mildly and it’s not safe to walk outside at times. A lot of people hanging out on the streets "
    • Trulia User
"It's not a great area, no live-in, and wouldn't recommend anything. Safety is crazy around here. also, people do not respect others "
    • Trulia User
"Quick and easy, gets crowed from 7am to 9am and from 4pm to 6pm. Outside of those two times, traffic moves at a decent pace."
    • Trulia User
"There are public parks every couple of blocks, not too far from a local shopping center, there are stores/delis on just about every corner. The only place I know were u can find a pharmacy / liquor store combined into one"
    • Trulia User
"Commute is okay. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Light Rail but the buses are accessible. It’s about 40 minutes total to my workplace using the light rail. "
    • Trulia User
"Now a safe area, very upcoming! A 10 minute walk to transit rail station and minutes to Jersey City downtown and Nj Path station to Nyc. Close Nj turnpike. "
    • Trulia User
"Lincoln Park has some events like film showing and rides and local bands playing every summer. A lot of people go there for different sports events."

"Bad neighborhood animal come and the garbage no parking always a shooting people stealing your package"
    • Trulia User
"Being a dog owner in my neighborhood there's a few dog parks that you can take your dog too. As well as dog daycare centers so if you need a dog sitter or other etc you are looking a great area if you're interested in this area. Very close to schools and public transportation terminals which is a great thing as well, then there's just great housing overall."
    • Trulia User
"I love it. I’ve lived here my whole life. I went to grammar school and high school in this Greenville area. It has gotten even better throughout the years and it continues to grow and to excel with time. I recommend my Greenville area to raise your family or to just enjoy the area and atmosphere. I’ve lived here for over 30 years and have no reason to move any time soon. "
    • Trulia User
"Laico’s is great and the only saving grace of the neighborhood. Parking is terrible and neighbors are very disrespectful "
    • Trulia User
"Ppl are mean and rude around this neighborhood. It’s just not safe to walk your dog unless you live closer to downtown."
    • Trulia User
"There is a lot of poop everywhere when walking on the grass. Grass is not well maintained. There are no safe local parks to which one could walk a dog. You're dog will be an indoors dog. "
    • Trulia User
"East commute to Brooklyn daily. I love the commute times. That’s about it. The neighborhood has a lot of crack epidemic and I do not trust that my packages will get delivered without a hassle ."
    • Rilind S.
"Neighbors are very friendly, every time they see you say hello. It’s family block so no projects around only private houses, streets are quite during the day."
    • Lilyve
"Nothing. Barely any parking, most dog walkers don't pick up after their dogs, always out of state cars parked everyday taking up spots"
    • Tony
"Not a bad neighborhood. Princeton Avenue is the best kept secret. A great place to raise a family. Also try to get a home on Princeton Ave, it’s close to the Light Rail. "
    • Gerardo D. L.
"Excelente, place for living and enjoy, but noise is terrible, and the wild animal eat the garbage. "
    • Chrystle R.
"I use my car to get to and from everywhere I have to go I am very uncomfortable with public transportation in this area. "
