Number 20 Elementary School

This is my son's second year at the school and he is thriving. He loves going there and seems to have a great time learning and interacting with other children. Communicating with the teachers is no problem and I feel like I'm always in the loop on my son's progress.

I witnessed a school security roughly handing a 2nd grader max I would immediately file a lawsuit if that was my child. He grabbed a crying student tightly and roughly by his arms and yanked him to get across the front sign out desk. I would expect that poor baby boy to have bruises when he gets home by the way that grown man handed that child. School drop off aren’t safe nor after school pick ups. I would not have a bunch of adults not even verified if they are actual parents stand in a courtyard to get children. And especially 1 teacher can not watch all students and make sure of safety. Same for morning. Teachers aren’t aware. I WOULD SHUT THIS SCHOOL DOWN OR CHANGE UP

The staff at the front door are very rude. My mom was going to take my brother because they made him a school transfer, and they told her that they couldn't attend her that she has to go on another day. Like they didn’t care.

This school has shown strict environment when it comes to behavior people are never out of line and if they are will be excused and handled by the vice principal or principal of James f Murray school
