Read what parents are saying about Henry Snyder High SchoolMy name is Marlon, and I graduated from Henry Snyder High School back in 1994, in the school was terrible back then never mind the fact that it was pretty much adjacent to a police precinct. The area was extremely dangerous back then, and it's even worse now. The most I can say is stay away as far as you can from Jersey City, it was a nice place when my grandmother bought her home there in 1981, but around the late '80s and up the place became a cesspool.

Posted by a parent on 2/14/2018This school is absolutely horrible The teachers are constantly lose the students possessions faculty abuse their power The school looks tear down and nasty it is not a good learning environment for the kids and plus when it's time for a big test like the PARCC students are lost because the teachers did not teach done any of the things that are on the test. I do not recommend this School the school should shut down this is not a last resort you last resort should be homeschooled nobody should ever be go to this school because it is such a bad Learning environment and plus your Student will not learn anything

I truly recommended being involved with the school and participate in their events, join the PTA and build a relationship with the teachers and principal. It truly makes a difference!Parent Review5y ago - Number 34 Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son transferred to this school in late September and it has been a breath of fresh air! The staff is accessible and polite. They make sure the children experience life outside of the school with regular trips and programs. I almost lost faith in the public school system but so far, this school is great!Parent Review5y ago - Center For The Arts
