Beautiful home in the heart of Biscayne. Our low maintenance home is ideally situated within minutes of shopping, parks, Denver's Cherry Creek district, medical offices & hospitals, entertainment, light rail, museums, and the Denver Zoo.
Gently live-in since our comprehensive remodeling and rebuild (2010) that included all electrical, plumbing, flooring, walls, ceilings, windows, cabinetry and hardware.
Our spacious kitchen features granite counters, all round natural Red Cherry cabinets & drawers, stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances, and a porcelain tile floor. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining/living rooms/study spaces (no walls, no doors - one large open space approximately 595 square feet. Where the "study" once existed, there's a discrete Murphy Bed System (bed, drawers, closet, desk area). This space quickly & easily accommodates a guest or two. We expanded the original Master Bedroom (to approximately 300 square feet) and added two adjoining walk-in closets. The master bath features a glass shower, bath, dual sinks, and granite counter tops. Throughout the main level, natural Oak Hardwood flooring elicits a warmth complimented by porcelain and ceramic tiles.
Transitioning from the kitchen or from the "sun room" to the spacious redwood deck (650 square feet) presents no challenge: no steps! The home's south-facing windows (Pella, "between-the-glass blinds") and skylights add cheer and an abundance of natural light. The home's mostly unpartitioned large finished basement offers a variety of options and includes a 3/4 bath, laundry room, "shop" space, walk-in closet, etc. Our home's 22-panel roof-mounted photovoltaic system generally produces more electricity per year than we consume.
