Furnished Log cabin available for month-to-month, long term rental, or even a For Sale By Owner.

 Cabin offers a king size bed in the upstairs loft, Queen bed in downstairs bedroom, Queen Murphy bed in downstairs living room and brand-new sofa sleeper in the main living area. Pictures are pretty accurate as to the condition of the cabin. Tenant's responsible for paying electric, internet and propane.

I am unable to start showing the cabin until April 1st - out of respect for my current tenants. My apologies in advance.

Open to longer-term rental or month-to-month rental. Cabin will remain fully furnished.

    "vehicle is a must have commodity to get around when you live out of the town city limits. Unless you like to walk or ride a bike. They're are few other drawbacks as well. Communicating by cell phone is not very good around the countryside, lacking cell towers. This is a problem, even trying to get on the internet. Somedays are better than others but still we have poor reception. Other than that we have the beautiful outdoors. We can enjoy going to the national forest for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing or just driving around the back roads and enjoy scenery as well as wildlife. Living outside the city's limit might have it's drawbacks but you take the good and the bad as it comes and make the best of it."

    "Murphy, NC is a small community with all the basics (yes, including Walmart). There is a lot to do or you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Winters are NOT harsh, however, you will need warm clothing. You can enjoy the wildlife from your back deck or walk the many trails throughout the county. Although Murphy will have a Casino come the Summer of 2015; it will have little impact on the quality of life."
