About this House

This is one awesome spot! Weekly and nightly (2 night minimum) available year round. This cozy cabin is located alongside a meandering creek in the Smoky Mountains near Murphy, North Carolina. Our priority is to provide extra clean and comfortable accommodations. All amenities are included to make your stay a relaxing and memorable experience plus internet access ~ WiFi. The cabin is set on three wooded acres that encompass both sides of the creek. A trail runs along the back of the property and parallels the creek. This path is great for walking or hiking and makes for easy exploring all the way into the community park, where two creeks converge with small waterfalls. The creek is great for the kids and adults alike to splash, swim and explore. Check out the guests 'Reviews' of this property.

    "vehicle is a must have commodity to get around when you live out of the town city limits. Unless you like to walk or ride a bike. They're are few other drawbacks as well. Communicating by cell phone is not very good around the countryside, lacking cell towers. This is a problem, even trying to get on the internet. Somedays are better than others but still we have poor reception. Other than that we have the beautiful outdoors. We can enjoy going to the national forest for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing or just driving around the back roads and enjoy scenery as well as wildlife. Living outside the city's limit might have it's drawbacks but you take the good and the bad as it comes and make the best of it."

    "Murphy, NC is a small community with all the basics (yes, including Walmart). There is a lot to do or you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Winters are NOT harsh, however, you will need warm clothing. You can enjoy the wildlife from your back deck or walk the many trails throughout the county. Although Murphy will have a Casino come the Summer of 2015; it will have little impact on the quality of life."
