The properties are very well kept and people take pride in the community. The lake is beautiful and the town is surrounded by it. Hayesville NC is just on the borderline of Hiawassee GA. THE LAKE IS A HALF A MILE AWAY. THE SCHOOLS ARE THE BEST IN THE STATE. THERE IS GREAT RESTARAUNTS ARE QUAINT SHOPPING ALL AROUND."
