About this House

This is a second floor, beautiful walk up apartment in a nice private house. It is in a great nice neighborhood in NE Bronx, very quiet and safe. Numerous schools are nearby: PS 89 across the street, St. Lucy's Catholic school and church a few blocks away, St. Catherine Academy and Columbus High School three blocks away. Walking distance to three supermarkets, Walgreens pharmacy, several small grocery stores and bodegas, laundromat, Post Office, public library, banks, (many, many) restaurants and bars, and everything else you could want. 10-12 minute walk to the #2 and #5 express trains to Manhattan, a block away from the Bx8 and Bx26 buses, short drive to I-95, Bronx River Parkway, Hutchinson River Parkway. Plentiful street parking.
The apartment has a large living room with a very nice balcony overlooking the street.
The kitchen has ample cabinet space, clean countertops, gas oven and range, all in an open floor-plan.
There are three bedrooms in total, and two bathrooms. The king size master bedroom has a master bath with walk-in shower, very large closet, and a balcony overlooking the yard. The other two queen size bedrooms each have their own closets. The second bathroom is accessible from the main hallway and features a standard size bathtub.
Hardwood floors throughout the apartment, AC wall sleeves in all rooms, central heating (tenant-controlled,) wired for Optimum/Verizon internet, cable, phone. Water included; tenant pays all other utilities (individual meters.) This is an owner occupied house that is very quiet, respectful and well cared for.
The landlord/owner lives in the ground floor unit, and is responsive and takes meticulous care of the building. The goal is to have tenants who appreciate a shared environment that feels stable, quiet, clean and human not chaotic.
We are looking for responsible and qualified tenants with a minimum credit score of 700 or better and a minimum combined household income of at least $9900 monthly. Proof of income is required.
