7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately, this school lacks diversity, I live in the district and I was very disappointed in the way my child has been treated. One of the 1 grade teachers who is a Special Education teacher has shown little to know support in multiple ways towards my son. I have meetings, Ive sent emails complaining about the lack of communication with his teacher. The principal was included in the emails so that he could be aware of what was happening. The lack of communication has not changed. A few things happened to my child that should have been reported immediately, thankfully my child can communicate with us or else it would have been swept underneath the rug. My child is still in attendance and will be attending another school soon. I will not provide details as of now because Iam concerned about how my child will be treated. I advise anyone who send your child there have a advocate work with you or a lawyer especially if your child/children have an IEP or if your child is not of Euro American descent.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Paxon Hollow Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my opinion, this school is one of the worst educational environments I have ever experienced. Every day feels like stepping into a building that should have been updated decades ago. It is extremely old, and the age shows everywhere you look. The walls are cracked, the paint is chipped, the classrooms look outdated, and nothing seems to have been replaced or improved in a very long time. Instead of feeling like a place meant for learning, the school feels more like an old museum that has been ignored.Cleanliness is another huge problem. From what I have seen, roaches and other bugs show up far too often. It is not a rare issue. It feels like a problem that the school never fully addresses. Seeing insects in the hallways and classrooms is uncomfortable and distracting. No student should have to sit in class worried about bugs crawling around or appearing on their desk. The cafeteria food is also a major disappointment. The meals often taste low quality and poorly put together. Many students choose to bring their own food because the school lunches just are not worth eating. A school should care about the quality of the food it provides, and this one clearly does not.The equipment and supplies are old and worn out. The desks look like they have been used for years without replacement. The computers barely function. The materials look outdated and overused. Nothing feels modern or properly maintained, and it makes learning a lot harder than it should be.Overall, my honest opinion is that this school is terrible. It needs major renovations, better cleaning, updated materials, improved food, and a real commitment to students. Everyone deserves to learn in a place that feels clean, safe, and well taken care of. This school is far from that.Other Review5mo ago16 Reviews - Marple Newtown Senior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely THE WORST high school and school district ever. DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL they will be repeatedly bullied, called racial slurs, and called terrorists. The teachers and administrators are very very biased against students if they like you they pass you if they don’t they fail you. You ALSO get punishments for a made up reason and you don’t get a say in it. If you don’t do the punishment it gets worse for you and put it all in your record. Admins especially at the high school like the principal will abuse their power. The ONLY adults that I respect are the attendance ladies in the main office. They will literally help and do everything for you even if it’s not in their department. Absolute legends!Parent Review11mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 25 Valley Forge Rd.

"Dogs are common. Lack of sidewalks in most of the area. People are good about picking up after dogs. Skunk Hollow Park nearby allows dogs off leash. "
