Every parent has access to their child's gradebook and attendance. Those who are taught to value education and make good decisions thrive here. Getting involved in the many activities that are offered both during and after school also provide great opportunities to build character. There are many teachers there who have even graduated from Carrick. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is phenomenal. We are so fortunate to go here. Our daughter loves school, has made wonderful friends. From the first week the teachers all seem to know every child by name. Students are greeted each morning with an all-school assembly with drumming, singing, a welcome message by the Principal, and the school rock band rocking out. Its a fantastic way to start the day! Some are rude when you ask for help and do not support the children in a positive way. There are fights and some teachers or staff just stand there and watch. "I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life it's not the best because of the crime that goes on but the people here are great at coming together to keep it away "

"I hear a lot of things about this area but after living here a year I can say that I've never encountered any problems and the neighbors are friendly enough. I wouldn't walk around late at night by myself but I wouldn't do that anywhere. I like the convenient location of being close to downtown and public transit is very accessible. You can't walk to any shopping but with it's location you can get to most any shopping plaza relatively quickly. "
