Golden High has a lot of good teachers here, from what I have experienced so far, they're all respectful and nice to all the kids a like, no matter what. They don't exclude anyone and are supportive of everyone, checking in with some that need it more than others. They really did a good job at making the school feel secure and safe for everyone there, though that's one of the downsides. Despite all the good sides about this school their are an awful amount of bullies and fights/hardships that happen here every year. When we reported someone doing something bad to us and/or others the counsellors did nothing about it, we asked about it a week later and then they'll say they'd do something about it and never did. The teacher's and some of the counselors are not good at taking care of students that are actually causing harm to the others and are instead focusing on the little things like how people are giving others piggyback rides in the cafeteria calling it unsafe for them. With that, some of the staff are... Odd. One of the security guards that are supposed to make us feel safe aren't really doing a good job at that, following students around and even checking their files and going into certain details that they shouldn't. I really do think this school needs to do a better job at handling their staff and the bullying problem. It isn't my number one suggestion for a school but it's not all that bad. I'd give it about a 7/10.

We feel so lucky to have found Ralston Elementary. The community is incredible. Every single teacher is fantastic, full of experience and a deep desire to be there. The PTA and parent support gives this school so many extras; such as full-time Music, Art, PE teachers with a theater production twice a year and grade level performances. They have many support professionals; including a GT, social-emotional and additional classroom paras through 2nd grade. They offer a STEM lab and hosts special events and traditions throughout the year. Our family's favorite is the Fall Festival, which hosts a number of carnival games, inflatables, a food truck and music... it's a great time for all! They offer many after school activities from Spanish, Science, Robotics, to ballet, karate, soccer... the list is full throughout the year! A priority of the school is teaching kindness, offering a kindness crew that sprinkles in kind gestures and lessons throughout the year. The schools location is about as Colorado as you get. It is tucked away among the pine trees of lookout mountain with incredible views of the rocky mountains. As you pull up to the school, you pass a buffalo herd and have many chances to see Elk in the neighborhood. What we love about this school is that you not only get some of the best education there is, but you have a true community and wonderful outdoor playground, with extremely qualified teachers and friendly staff.

It's a great school but it's not always safe and a couple of teacher are kinda mean but it's a good school they also they do a really fun stuff like vacations you have to pay for and out door lab for a week in the mountains for only 20$
