My light, bright, welcoming home will soon be available for rent because I need to move for a new job. The main and top floors may be available as soon as Feb 1, shortly after I find a rental which I'm actively looking for. The beautiful mother-in-law apartment in the basement (not pictured) could be available May 1, but could also remain occupied if my current renter wants to stay and you would like that too.
You would start renting the top two floors and then take over the lease for the whole house starting May 1, unless my current renter stays in which case she could stay on a separate lease. The top two floors would be $2700 + utilities. The entire house would be $4200 + utilities. Security deposit = 1.5x rent. The lease would go until April 30, 2027.
The home is 2400 sq. ft, approximately 800 sq ft. per floor. Feel free to PM me for more photos. Here are some of the wonderful things about this home which I hope you will love as much as I do:
- Light, bright, and sunny with many windows.
- Great views from the 2nd floor.
- Friendliest neighborhood I have lived in since I was a kid
- Near the high school and Bohn Park, walk or bike everywhere in town and to the river.
- Updated kitchen with newer appliances
- Brand new heat pump and heat pump water heater for efficiency.
- Front yard is newly planted as a native plant garden for pollinators. The front porch has lovely shade in the summer.
- Fenced back yard with younger fruit trees and a large crabapple, and garden boxes
- Beautiful mother-in-law apartment in the basement with separate fully-functioning kitchenette, newly constructed in 2024
- Could be partially furnished or perhaps I will sell some furniture
- Two-car garage (my housemate has one side for now)
- 1-2 pets considered. There is a built-in dog door.
My housemate is fantastic. She is mid-40s, quiet, respectful, loves the space, and works on-site at her job full-time. Her small dog is adorable. The shared spaces include the main entrance (there is privacy for you), the front porch, back yard and her dog will use the dog door, the garage, and the laundry which is in the basement. We have a system for sharing the laundry.
I'm a responsive and dependable owner. I will still be living in Boulder County so will be close enough to respond to issues in person as needed.
