"I've lived here for 4 years and adore it. We all know each other on our street, kids play, adults help each other out and we look out for each other. "
  • Morgan K.
"I love this neighborhood. It’s very convenient to get to town but far enough to feel like you’re in the county. Plus it’s blocks away from the elementary school! "
  • Jamie P.
"Great neighbors, kids playing together, community centered town, great diversity, amazing school system. Charming and small."
  • Jamie P.
"I have 4 kids ages 5-11 and the Wilmore school system is the best! Our little street is full of families with kids and we all are pretty close, have potlucks, and help with each other's kids. It truly is magical. I love Wilmore as a community, the people and the charm of it all. It's such a wonderful place to raise kids. The Seminary brings in diversity from around the world, too, so it's a small town with a worldly culture. "

"Elementary School-> Wilmore Elementary school is rated bit lower than it is! It is a public school but its like a private school! Great teachers, most of kids know kids at school! Parks-> safe, good parks for kids to play Wilmore in general-> small town but vibrant, good people, safe , quiet neighbourhood "

"I don't appreciate iate that dog owners let their dogs sit outside and bark all day long and sometimes through the night. "
  • Carolyn Bishop
"I love Wilmore. It is peaceful and everyone is so friendly. It is a very nice place to live. I regret having to move because I could not find a better town to live in that I know of. I currently have to move because wiener is reclaiming home for their son to move in. Please let me know if there is anything to come open for rent in wilmore so I can remain to live in Wilmore. It a great place to live."
  • Laneallunsford
"Nice neighbors for the most part. Some of the neighbors are strange and druggies. You can smell the pot when you walk out our front door. Some of our neighbors won’t mow their grass and when they do, it looks awful!"
  • Laneallunsford
"I drive. Busy in the mornings around 6:30-9:00. Commute to college in Lexington is not too bad. I commute to Cooper."
  • John P.
"Wilmore has the old small town charm without the nosy town people. You can be you, raise your kids in the best city in the world and have them go to the number one Elementary School in USA. This school still says God Bless and acknowledges there is a God and not ignore it. They still post the ten commandments proudly."
