3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children LOVE this school – from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. Rosa Park's integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons.Though it is a small school, it allows for a lower student to teacher ratio, giving children more confidence when asking questions, engage in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers.Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child – their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are okay. The biggest issue is Admin. The principal refuses to address bullying concerns and neglect to contact parents when incidents have occurred. If you bring up issues to the principal, she will actively gaslight you and never acknowledge the issue or her lack of action. Overall, she gives the school a terrible reputation and is not at all qualified to do the job she was unfortunately hired to do. When issues are brought to district, they too neglect any form of accountability or action to rectify any situation. If you value your students well being and mental health, please DO NOT send your students to this school. They do NOT support families. They do NOT support kids who are being bullied. They do NOT do their jobs. They will, however, treat you like garbage.Other Review10mo ago - John F. Kennedy High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter loves her friends and enjoys school but it is really sad that the teachers and principal has not control over the students. So far parents went on campus fought kids, someone peppered sprayed. So many kids getting jumped and half the time students do not even go to the school. Not enough is being done to keep students safe. Even if they find who threatened the school nothing will be done to the kids. They should start fining the parents and I guarantee they will finally get control of there kids. Very disappointed in this school. To top it off my daughter has substitutes teachers baby in just about every class since school started.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 2066 Oneil Way.

"I have lived in the neighborhood for almost 4 years I know most of my neighbors and it is a pretty quiet neighborhood for the most part! There is a park down the street! And most of the neighbors look out for each other! "

"It can be a nice place to live but that is heavily dependant on the area. I live close to the home depot. I've used transit to go to Sac City and Sac State with little to no issues. Besides the frequently late buses. Occasional gun shots can be heard but I've felt generally safe in my house which I currently rent and my mom has lived in for almost seven years. Great neighbors!"

"It’s peaceful for the most part, Usually the drama comes from neighbors visitors. Other than that you may hear some tires burning rubber from the younger kids with nothing else better to do but I lived in meadowview all my life. Like any where else don’t leave valuables in site because not everyone is a good person."
