5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would absolutely recommend this school. Both of my boys have been enrolled since Pre-K, and our experience has been wonderful. As a full-time working mom, I really appreciate that the school opens 30 minutes early so children can come in, settle down, and enjoy breakfast before starting their day. I also love how engaged the teachers are in the classroom and how much they encourage my boys to do their best every day. The class sizes are fewer than 25 students, which has really helped my sons. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOkay so, I had this friend who went to this school during 2019, they had absolute terrible experience in this school and they were going through their own troubles at home, kids and TEACHERS would bully them and would bother them as well. The principal at the time said to not discuss this issue at all or report it either. Literally my friend went through so much and they’re only 12-13 at the time. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. Our autistic child went here for a short time. We had been working on a goal of having him self advocate. One day when he was having a bad day he went to the office to call home. It was a big achievement for him to be able to get the words out while distressed. The office people were rude with him and refused to allow him to call home, despite this being an accommodation that was written in his IEP. That they had been made aware of. The principal when informed saw no problem with this.Children are generally treated with contempt in this school. When you leave and go to new school you really see what it should be like, where adults can just operate with common decency, respect and as though they don’t hate their job and the children they are around.Many good staff have left under the current principal. The amount of physical fighting and aggression in the playground is frightening but not surprising given how the adults in this school behave. Avoid this school if you can.
