"A lot of coyotes, so beware of kids, or dogs, late at night. A lot of wild life on the roads as well, drive slow. Especially with the way the police are out here, it’s probably a good idea, unless you want to get pulled over."

"I have lived in this home for over 20 years, raised 2 kids here, its a great kids friendly neighborhood! I grew up 6 blocks from here since 1967. Could not ask for a better place to call home. Give it a 9! Now if the Village of Winfield would establish a local grocery store in town, it would make it a 10! "

"I’ve lived in Winfield the entire 14 years of my life and it’s an amazing little village and community. Everyone knows everyone here. We have little restaurants, our own gas station, 7-11, and we have antique stores! It’s an amazing little village and I don’t think anyone could regret living here. We have a hospital, and a school (pre-k through 8) it’s just the cutest little area that it perfectly safe for anyone and everyone."

"I've lived here for 28 years. Some of my neighbors moved in at the same time and are still very happy here. As with most parts of DuPage County, the taxes are a little stiff but the only real industry we have here is one of the Best Hospitals in the country."

"I visit frequently, all days of the week. Many people stroll through the neighborhood for exercise, to walk their dogs, or to enjoy the yards. It is safe for children to ride bikes. "We moved here 11 years and we couldn't be any luckier when it comes to neighbors! It's a great neighborhood with wonderful people. My kids love playing at the parks, three of which are a short walk from the home. The pond and forest preserve are right across the street and the train and downtown area are less than a mile away."
