The interior doors featuring solid brass reproduction hardware are of solid poplar with the exception of the study door which is walnut. The wood casings, base and crown, taken from a vintage design was custom milled out of poplar by Paxton Lumber. Every window, hand built in Oregon by Bergerson Windows made from western red cedar, which will never deteriorate, features a weight and pulley system. The main entry welcomes with the cherry staircase by Adams Stair, ascending three stories has carved rosettes and beading...also seen in other Hunt homes. Ahead to the gracious formal dining room or the formal living room to the right, you'll find elegant and perfected detailing including the hand painted mural, period lighting and more. From either set of living room French doors, walk out to the covered porch offering beautiful sunsets and serene views of the grounds and surrounding naturalized areas. The custom kitchen features Kennebec cabinetry, handcrafted in Bath, Maine, wide planked pine flooring and center island table and is equipped with modern stainless appliances and soapstone counters without giving up the look of an historic home. Adjacent to the kitchen and breakfast room is the family room, reminiscent of an English hunting lodge with its barrel-vaulted ceiling, stone fireplace and built-in bookcase. French doors lead to the bluestone patio and extensive gardens by noted landscape architect Anthony Tyznik. Descend either main or back staircase to the masterfully finished basement and find one amazing Arts & Crafts style, fully finished dream. From the clinker brick fireplace, quartersawn oak millwork and doors to the built-ins and Bradbury and Bradbury hand silk-screened wallpaper the inviting recreation space with covered porch walk-out, kitchen area with sink and refrigerator, full bath, wine room, workshop and more have been done to perfection! The second and 3rd floors are elegantly appointed with five bedrooms and 3 full baths. Bedroom five is currently set up and used as a craft room with counter and sink. The primary suite of rooms features a screened sleeping porch, private bath with double sink vanity and oversized shower, generous walk-in closet with doorway to nursery or bedroom two. The subtle bullying is everywhere, but when we say something to any white kid even if it doesn't affect them we are reported and are told their too sensitive, and we get in trouble.Meanwhile, white students say and do mean things to each other it's considered as oh it's just friends joking. No one reports them or punishes them. But if we speak up or complain, suddenly we're the problem.They put up flags from every country and talk about diversity, but it's all for show. The school doesn't actually care about treating everyone fairly. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think this school is fine if you fit the status quo but not for kids that require an IEP or 504. Meetings were a joke. The principal sat and played on his phone and no one bothered to read or follow the 504. Now that my child is in a supportive school that aptly communicates I can look back at how absolutely terrible and traumatic Wiesbrook was for my kid. The school needs a total staff turnover with leaders that have people skills and maybe care about the kids. Teachers here bully and taunt kids and laugh when they cry. The bullying is out of control and the school as well as the district allow for it to continue. Ask them how many kids have had to leave because they were bullied so severely and were even physically attacked at the school. And how nothing is being done about the problem. How this school has not had dozens of lawsuits filed I will never know. Please check the other reviews and do NOT send your children to Hubble. They truly in my opinion do not care about the safety nor the mental health of their students at all. They do have some great teachers who care but unfortunately their hands are tied and they can not do much to help. Please think twice about sending your kids here!Parent Review9mo ago
