"My neighborhood is beautiful. The lake, the trees, the deer, the neighbors and the real sense of community. "
  • Anne Twombly
"Dogs are not allowed on the lake or in or on any public spaces. I would say this is not a dog friendly community. Plus you’re not allowed to fence yards to your dogs have to remain inside your house, and the only walking is a very narrow roads with those sidewalks."
  • Anne Twombly
"Lake wildwood is not dog friendly at all. Dogs are not allowed in any community areas, including the lake and all parks. There’s one trail you can walk your dogs on. Your only allowed to walk your dog on the street with no sidewalks."
  • Patrick Murphy
"Great neighborhood market. Small but has everything. Tons of activities, concerts, music! Never a dull moment."
  • James T.
"People walk their dogs, but not a great neighborhood for dogs. No fences are allowed that I have seen"
  • L.meza251
"Most houses have limited sized yards but have a vast area to walk on a leash. Most dogs are friendly. "
  • Alishia
"Not much traffic at all, nice scenery all around and a nice river 10 minutes down the road you can swim in. The only thing is that the houses are very close together in the gated area along with not being able to ride motorcycles and paying to park them at the front gates annually. "
  • Mermo46
"I would like to see the bike path extended along Penn Valley Rd to Canyon Creek Estates, so that bicycle riders would have a nice long (safe) path to ride the length of Penn Valley Rd."
  • Where.r.bandd
"Lake Wildwood! Best place to live!! Friendly people, lots of activities to get involved with..you can do it all or do nothing! "
  • Shelly_robinson
"They would like the dog friendly dog park in western gateway park. People like dogs in Nevada city and grass valley. "
  • G. Carleen
"Surrounded by beautiful foothills, wildlife and fun at the lake yet just over a mile walk to dentists, doctors, a small grocery, library, realty offices a phlebotomy lab, and a pharmacy. The best is a family run authentic Thai luncheon/dinner restaurant that does not ever disappoint. "
  • Grace W.
"Neighbors watch out for one another. We help one another when we see the need arising. Twice a year we have neighborhood yard sales! "
  • Grace W.
"Mostly senior citizen community. Schools: C rating. 1 grocery store, several fast food stores, large park with community gatherings. "
  • Kgkodachrome1

  • Tchdbygrace
"Dogs are welcome, owners are respectful of each other’s spaces. The barking ordinance is not stringent since people respect others. "
  • Fullgallupfarms
"I lived in this neighborhood for the tears and grew up there. While it has changed it is still pretty quiet and far enough away from the hubbub of town that it makes it pleasant"
  • Shauntel C.
"Awesome nice people still exist in the world. Small town that revolves around it's community. Ma and Pa stores still exist. Open to a diverse range of ideas."
  • Merrileeb63
