2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I was there it was a good school, but now my younger sister comes home from school talking about how she gets bullied or picked on 4/5 days of a typical school week. It got to the point a girl even started a fight with her. My sister defended her self as anyone would a got suspended longer than the girl that started the fight!! I could not be more thrilled with his teachers, communication, and the progress he is making. As a former educator I take pride in what my children are learning. Not only me but a ton more of students disprove of the new principal for 2016-2017. The dress code is more of a priority there than how well the teachers teach, how nice the bathrooms look. I went to go to the bathroom in building 4 down strairs, womens bathroom closest stall to the sink and there was a huge cockroach stairing at me while doing my business. The teachin is very poor. Most of the educators i have encountered during freshman and sophomore year teach very poorly, they dont make sure you comprehend the concept, therefore the people attending lake weir fail. Another thing is i wanted a family member i haven't seen in a long time wanted to have lunch with me, sadly wasnt allowed to regarding the campus being a "closed campus" The front desk attendednt, Ms. Gonzales I believe her name is, is very rude and disrespectful.
