1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Wyomina Park Elementary <3 The students are well cared for and educated by their wonderful teachers and staff. I know my child is safe, cared for, and is allowed to excel. They have worked with our family to give our child the best possible chance to grow and excel. Our son struggled with school and behavior; they worked with us to set up an IEP and to narrow down his negative areas and experiences. We were able to get him diagnosed with ADHD and on the proper medication to help him focus. He is doing great now that he has ADHD under control. He still struggles with reading, but we are working on it! Wyomina Park gives me faith that he can be a great student and is getting the support and attention he needs. I hope my child is able to finish out his elementary career at this school. We do not want to move out of the general area because we love his school so much! I trust the teachers and staff and am grateful to everyone who helped him get to this point!Parent Review10mo ago6 Reviews - Montessori Academy-Ocala

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel St John is on a clear, strong path to excellence. My son absolutely loves his home away from home and the teachers that embody the school. The relationships I have personally developed with the faculty emulates a family atmosphere and a sense of personal investment with my child. To me that is just as important as the education. We have been completely happy with our time at St John and hope to be fortunate enough to stay throughout high schoolParent Review6y ago23 Reviews - The Cornerstone School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school likes to advertise and preach they “meet the child where they are “ and that couldn’t be further from the truth. The teachers in most cases are below average and lack in communication. The entire school has communication issues starting at the front desk. The front desk lady is extremely rude , the head of the school is condescending and demeaning, the head of lower division and upper both have zero clue what is going on in the classrooms . There have been several instances where there needed to be communication with the parents and the parents were told not to communicate with each other or ask questions . In fact they will threaten you that it is against contract to talk to other parents about anything . If your child does not meet their standards as far as grades (I’m talking not failing but not As) they will find a reason to get rid of you to keep their reputation . This school costs entirely too much money to threaten parents that their child will not be allowed to return when the parent and child both work extremely hard to meet their expectations . I couldn’t be more disappointed with a school & want to save other parents from going through this . I have seen my confident girl go from happy & proud to sad and saying “I know I’m not as good of a reader as the other kids but I try really hard”. If we could remove our child from this school now we would but they threaten that we are in a contract for payments and will still be responsible for 100%. So we will continue through the year and then not return . I do not recommend this schoolParent Review3mo ago2 Reviews - Montessori Preparatory School of Ocala
