Description

The desirable, gated and French-inspired ARBORDEAU community provides the perfect setting for this sumptuous condominium that is the true epitome of elegance. 18 Etienne beckons you with luxurious appointments and thoughtful improvements at every turn. Both the ground floor entry and the underground parking garage provide secure elevator access directly into to this gorgeous top-floor condo. As you step off the elevator and proceed from your foyer into the entry hallway you will immediately notice the refinished parquet hardwood floors, freshly painted walls, newer door hardware and custom crown moldings that are found throughout the condo. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer beautiful views and allow the sunlight to stream into the enormous living/dining room. This splendid space also features a fireplace, custom lighting and access to a large partially-covered balcony that is ideal for entertaining. The light-filled chef's kitchen has been completely redesigned and renovated with attractive finishes and abundant cabinetry, and you will enjoy your favorite culinary creations on the adjacent balcony! The main bedroom has a large walk-in-closet and accesses another balcony through sliding doors. A hallway connects you to an opulent bathroom with its large custom vanity and tile shower. The bright and cheerful second bedroom features built-in cabinetry and shelving, a spacious walk-in-closet and easy access to the bathroom. Among 18 Etienne's additional amenities are a convenient half-bathroom off the entry hallway, custom shelving in every closet, a newer stackable washer and dryer, two assigned garage parking spaces and a large, private storage unit adjacent to the garage. The HVAC heat pump and condenser are less than two years old and all three sliding doors have been replaced. The longtime owner has spared no expense to make this condo a truly one-of-a-kind residence. You will also enjoy all that Arbordeau has to offer, including a clubhouse and pool and easy access to the Main Line and all major highways. • Sharont212
"My commute is short and easy since I work in the neighboring suburb and arrive at work earlier than most people do. "
  • Slhostett
"My husband and I have one car because the commute is easy and we can walk to the train station. We work in Wayne, but sometimes we have to work in Philly which is an easy commute of 40 minutes."
  • Bapdgm.barbara
"Excellent school district and easy access to major highways. An abundance of shopping in the area. Also easy access to excellent medical facilities."
  • Nlbergie

  • Maureen Mullin Mahoney
"Quiet and safe, great schools and location. Close to great shopping and restaurants, but you feel like you are in a private oasis."
  • Trulia User
"Lots of dogs and people walking them (and lots of people walking around), which isn’t bad. The only bad part of (not the neighborhood) but of TE is that most dog owners never have a leash on their dog! It is so dangerous. Often people think, “well my dog loves other dogs! They don’t need a leash.” But what about the OTHER dogs who don’t like unfamiliar dogs running up to them! Think about the dogs that are reactive and the owners who try to prevent incidents by controlling the environment so their dog and everyone around is safe. It’s impossible to control a situation like that. I love this area so much, but really wish people would think about this concern. "
  • Pra M.
"Safe, civil, caring... and generally alert as it is well taken care off during snow and also at all times by a great police team"
  • Corey L. A.
"Traffic flow is reasonable at most busy hours of the day. I don’t mind my commute at all. I love living here!"
  • Lulurgunn
"This district for kids schooling is the best in Pennsylvania. So if you are considering to buy in PA, I definitely recommend this safe, beautiful area."
  • Wmkeyser01
"Lived on Leopard Rd and Maple Ave running halfway houses a hundred years ago. NOw have a townhouse or two at Oak Knoll for about 35 years."
  • Mary o.

  • Pattithebus
"This is a wonderful, family-centered area. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distance, public transportation (bus, train) available nearby. All homes in this area are maintained very well and have always retained their value. Home is situated in the award-winning Tredyffrin/Easttown school district. HS is rated #5 in the state. This home has been lovingly maintained by the same family since it was built. The outside of the home is completely maintenance free and indoors has been updated including high-end appliances in the granite topped kitchen (sub-zero, thermador, butler's pantry with asko dishwasher and copper sink). Custom cherry cabinets in kitchen and butler's pantry. All baths updated. Master suite includes walk-in closet with system, marble bath. Secondary bath upstairs has 2 sinks, new fixtures. All rooms have been updated. Home includes a generously sized office with vaulted ceiling. Inground pool retiled and resurfaced with cement pool deck. New cover on pool 2013. Custom built shed and pergola. Large pavered patio outside kitchen with gorgeous cedar pergola. Lovely gardens. A wonderful, large home for a growing family!"
