"People living here have dogs in their backyards, but have not seen anyone walking them so far. We are visiting for a week."
  • Trulia User
"it's a friendly neighborhood.... the neighborhood needs more parks and recreation for the young community......."
  • Amanda
"Dogs are welcome and people pick up after their animals. It is great. The area is beautiful and not over run by commercial businesses. "
  • Amanda
"It is beautiful and I feel so safe. I am also near the Cypress Wetlands that is one of the most phenomenal places I have ever walked through. Very safe. Dog friendly. Cute little shops. "
  • Carycleaver
"It’s a distinct town with its own festivals and Farmers Market, yet it’s part of the larger Beaufort community too, with its restaurants and shops. I look forward to the development of the waterfront. "
  • Brandi B.
"there is a skate park with a family Park right out side the Naval Hospital. Friendly Military community in Port Royal"
  • Fluxitcarrie
"Live music on Paris Ave on Friday nights. The wetlands and rookery trail. Awesome huge live oaks dripping with spanish moss are everywhere. Our little beach, The Sands, had a boardwalk and observation tower. The list goes on. Wonderful place!"
  • CaryC
"I do not use public transportation, and I have not seen evidence of public transportation where I live. "
  • Unspecified
"there is a dog park, however it has a 4ft fence so if your dog is a fence jumper that's an issue. you could also take your dog for a walk on the Spanish moss trail. "
  • Satan Luciferous
"It's fine most mornings. Traffic tends to get congested at the Lady's Island bridge. There's also an intersection between the hospital and the local University that really needs a turn lane. Stay in the right lane if you intend to go straight."
  • Deandre w.
"I’ve lived in my neighborhood for 2 years now and it’s been absolutely amazing. My neighborhood is quiet. My neighbors are nice. Everything runs smoothly in the neighborhood. It’s close to the ocean. Crime rate is minimum to none. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. "
  • Jfry1024
