Description

I recently accepted a job in San Francisco and am renting my custom built house for the next few years. Since I love my house I don't want to sell and am looking for a respectful tenant to take good care of it for me while I'm gone :)

The house was built as a custom home in June of 2015 and has the perfect layout. The main floor consists of the oversized garage (car + storage), a powder room, then open living, dining, and kitchen. All appliances are top of the line DCS professional including gas range and double drawer dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a perfect sized patio and yard to soak up the nice days along with a fire pit to roast marshmallows.

Upstairs are the three bedrooms along with office and laundry room (no carrying your clothes down three flights!). All rooms are very large and can easily accommodate a queen/king bed. Two of the rooms are separated by the office and share a full bath. The office is large enough for a couch and has a very pretty live wood desktop. The master bedroom is massive and has it's own den that I currently use as a vanity/dressing area. It's nice because your partner can be getting ready without waking you up. There is a massive walk in closet and private covered deck. Lastly the bathroom is straight from a spa - three shower heads, two sinks, separate toilet, heated floors, the works!

The piste de resistance is the massive rooftop deck. There is room for a dining table, a couple lounge chairs, and of course the hot tub to take in the views of the stadiums and city lights. Can't beat that after a long day!

*Option to include some of the furniture if that's of interest

Tenant pays all utilities. Owner pays for house cleaning and yard work.

"I don’t see many dogs being walked around my neighborhood. Lots of concrete, not much green. There are trees but I haven’t seen many dogs. Only once in a while. "
  • Mcatherine2018
"The area around Seattle U feels safe with the security guards on campus and the police station a couple blocks away. It’s quiet most days but the weekends get crazy in the Pike/Pine/Broadway area. It’s not uncommon for to hear thumping music from neighbors in the buildings adjacent to the school. Not a whole lot of children around but sometimes people will bring their kids to the lawns at SU. "
  • John M.
"Super convenient to every single thing. Great security from the building. Beautiful area if you love the urban lifestyle. "
  • Margonzalezfranco
"We live in a new townhouse with a baby and love it here. My husband bikes to work and I usually take public transport. Super well connected."
  • Aaron
"It's a great place to live, allowing you don't mind hipsters or homeless. The air smells of body odor and marijuana smoke. The streets are lined with old volvos and other obscure old cars, all of which take up the extremely limited parking. But that's fine, you don't need a car, you'll walk everywhere right. Nope, not without being accosted for change at every corner. Ride a bicycle then. Nope, all your money will go to medical bills for getting run over by the old volvos that take up all the parking. And that's not even the best part, who wouldn't want to pay $3000 for a studio apartment. It really doesn't get much better than Capitol Hill. Seattle : where the streets are paved with syringes."
  • Houston L.
"I have lived in this neighbor for over 17 years and my current location is great! Just blocks away from amazing restaurants, dance bars and all the stores that you need to live in action, arts, theatre and music packed Seattle. Parks within two blocks, dog friendly and totally walkable. "
  • Katie m.
"My location is right between Capitol Hill, Madison Park and Madison Valley, as well as a quick drive to the Central District. I am seconds away from Safeway and some really cute local bars and small restaurants! It's also a straight shot to work, which is great, by bus or car. The neighborhood is up and coming and it's been nice to see improvements and developments to make it more charming. I don't necessarily want to be wandering around late at night but it's getting safer. There are some very cute parks around too!"
  • Pat a. A. H.
"Don't live here but will soon as soon as my transfer goes thru. Need to be close to downtown and Seattle University."
