Available early September through approximately mid-November 2026. Minimum 31-day rental. This is a great option for someone needing a comfortable furnished place for a temporary work assignment, relocation, or extended stay in Carpinteria.
The ADU will also be available again beginning the first week of January 2027 on a month-to-month basis.

Features and amenities include custom California Closets built-ins with a full-size wall bed and integrated storage, a kitchenette with range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and utensils, an in-unit washer/dryer combo, mini-split heating and air conditioning, and high-speed WiFi. Utilities (electric, gas, and water) are included within normal residential use. Starter essentials are provided; tenants replenish items as needed during their stay. Street parking available.

Fully furnished 31+ day rental. Security deposit: $1,500 (refundable). $2,800/month for one occupant; $2,900/month for two occupants.

Minimum 31-day lease, month-to-month thereafter. Rent includes utilities within normal residential use.

There isn’t much in the way of nightlife and things get pretty quiet after about 8:30pm. But the charm of this place is hard to beat. "

    "I live here part time and work here. Been here for 24 years. I fell in love with the town in 1991 and have loved it ever since.I am an artist and it is beautiful! People are so so nice. You have the gorgeous beach, ocean, sunsets, and mountains while everything in the town is a flat walk , biking hiking, sipping coffee in the sun. Just a wonderful heavenly quiet joyful place to be!"
