Perfect for one person wanting a cozy, move-in-ready Tiny Dream House! $1000 a month, utilities not included. Shop $200 a month additional for artist, craft, building space or storage. Washer/Dryer hookups could be provided.
Utilities are approximately $60 for electric, approx $25 for shop depending on intended use (but more if you run the A/C a lot or space heater as the meter is shared, $8 for gas, $25 for garbage, and High Speed Internet. The deposit is $2000.
This is a small country community of very kind and private folks who love the community garden if you want to partake, who appreciate the orchard and park-setting, and we are looking for a person who is chill, low impact, and just happy to be in a beautiful location. The other 4 homes are filled with folks who work daily. It is an ideal home to someone wanting to get away, but also with the safety of not being isolated in the country.
Very important, first and foremost as a tenant, we are looking for no drama or party land, and no pets unless your pet is also super low impact. If you are looking for low impact living you are a good fit. We screen highly.
Application is a 3-part process: Email first with a basic description of who you are, work, wishes for a living situation and your contact phone number. If you are a good match from what you've written about yourself-- your brief work and life summary and why you would like Tiny country house living, I will call you back for a phone interview and if that goes well, we can set up a showing and in-person interview. I am setting up showings now and screening possible tenants, so please act quickly, as we all know there is a housing shortage here in Amador County.

They have such a wide range of AP classes and the counselors really help you prepare for college. Also our sports are on of the top in every category even though we are such a small school. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the embodiment of every that is wrong with the education system. The teachers have long since lost any passion, if they ever had it. My friends and I often equate them to Stanford teachers going through the motions with little joy or creativity. It's a sad place to leave your child. I constantly hear in the media about selfless teachers doing God's work. In 6 years, I have yet to meet one. Most of the teachers I wouldn't pay to babysit my child. Many of them are wrapped up in being popular themselves, so if a child doesn't want to be teacher's pet, they are ignored or worse bullied by teachers. There is only one private school in the area. Many parents with the money have made that choice and more that have the ability home-school. If your child is special in anyway, this place will suck the joy and creativity out of them. The curriculum is all over the place, not just from grade to grade, but within grades. Two fourth graders in two different classes will have wildly varying homework, tests, reports, even fieldtrips.
