I am now on my third year in this school and so far it has been a great experience. The teachers are all highly experienced and they are such great people. They have such a wide range of AP classes and the counselors really help you prepare for college. Also our sports are on of the top in every cat
Posted by a student on 8/17/2017Fantastic! All four of my children graduated from Amador High. The staff is supportive and wonderful. The Musical Theatre program is outstanding. English Dept good. Math Dept needs help. Iverall highly recommend.

Negatives: the English dept, attitude of favoritism on the part of several teachers, too many teachers allow themselves to be distracted from their job by involvement in sports (as coaches). Suggest going to a private schoo

My experience is very different than the parents who responded. The teachers are very concerned with each student and my kid got the grade he deserved. The principal is very concerned and interested and I would recommend this school to anyone.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter’s second grade teacher spent the year being abusive. I have so much of it recorded, but I can’t share it on here. My daughter is very sensitive and gentle, and has anxiety. Her teacher couldn’t have been less sensitive to this. What’s worse, is after I have a kid for my daughter on multiple occasions to the principal, I noticed a coldness towards myself and my daughter from other staff. The front desk lady, other teachers. So not only was my daughter mistreated, but because she told the truth, and I stood up for her, now we all get treated like pariahs.
