About this House

This apartment building was built in 1955, to house the workers that were building the Seattle Center for the 1962 Worlds fair, so it has a lot of history to it. The building has been going through an entire upgrade with new windows, new siding, new entry doors with keypad entry, and totally new interiors. As the rest of the building is being remodeled, we have a 1 bedroom that has been totally upgraded with tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom with a matching tile tub/shower surround, and refinished hardwood flooring throughout the living room and bedroom, and is almost ready to rent. It has all new stainless steel appliances (refrigerator with ice maker, range, microwave and dishwasher), stack washer and dryer, as well as all new trim and 6 panel doors. The kitchen has all new cabinets and granite counter tops, as well as new vanity and cabinets in the bathroom and granite counter top too. Approximate room sizes are: Living Room: 17"7' x 14'1" Kitchen: 13' x 10' Bedroom 1: 10'7" x 10'10" closet 8' x 10' closet 4'2" x 2' Bathroom: 7' x 5'6". Pictures shown are of a similar unit with the same colors of cabinets, granite, tub surround and flooring. The apartment building is one block from Volunteer Park and on a major bus line and is only 7/10 mile from the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station, and close to all the neat shops, restaurants, and coffee shops that Capitol Hill has to offer. You will live in a neighborhood comprised of million dollar homes!

There is on street parking, Zone 4 pass required, and tenants say they can usually find parking out front or nearby.

Tenant pays for electricity directly to Seattle City Light, and pays water, sewer, garbage utility fee $100/mo for one person, $125/mo for two people, directly to landlord/owner. Sorry we do NOT allow satellite dishes to be used in the unit, and will not be allowed. We require a background check that includes criminal, credit and tenant history, and costs $50/person over 18. Pets are okay, only one pet allowed per unit, as long as they are under 18 inches at shoulder/top of back on front legs, and NO Pit Bulls/Pit Bull mix dogs, with an additional $400 pet deposit and $35/mo pet rent.
