  • Grace S.
"I live here. It a wonderful, friendly, peaceful neighborhood. No through traffic. There are people of all ages living here and international, interracial. "
  • Gsjames21
"Great, quiet community of homes with a variety of shapes and sizes. Mostly retirees and families with kids. If walkability means being about to wander around in a town like setting, this isn't it. But you certainly can walk the street without issue. Only about 3 miles to Weaverville, restaurants and shops and 4 mi to downton Asheville, to very close in. But just a few restaurants nearby (Stoney Knob, one of the area's best, though is 1.5mi n. and there are a couple specialty restaurants nearby. There is no public transportation to speak of in Asheville. It's pathetic. We also have a "community watch" program and neighbors are on a ListServ to keep everyone involved and informed (there is no home owners association). If you expand "area" to take in Asheville and Weaverville within the 10mi radius then the overall rating is 5-star. "

    "Clean, safe, diverse neighborhood."
  • Treehaus
"This is a beautiful area in Asheville and unique in that it is quite secluded, yet close to the medical center where we work."
  • Taylor S. T.
"Asheville is the greatest place to live. City comforts and nature all at the same time. Beautiful change of seasons. The mountains, the forests, rivers, colleges, great restaurants, excellent medical care, This house is perfect for a medical professional, a business owner, a family with kids, a couple, or retirees who have means and want to enjoy the better things in life. Situated just minutes from Mission Hospital, UNCA, AB Tech, downtown, the Biltmore Estate, and 1 mile to I-26 and the rest of WNC and all it has to offer. Our house could be the "Best House in Asheville," every detail built under close supervision to insure integrity, efficiency, conservation, warmth, and to be lived in for a lifetime for ourselves, our family and our grandchildren. If this sounds good to you, you must make arrangements to see it. You won't believe it!!"
