    North Lancaster, Salem
"there is always heavy police activity, homelessness, drugs, and if you live in an apartment complex your neighbors put the garbage bags outside of a empty garbage receptacle. this is no longer the safe neighborhood ot used to be."

"We have only lived here for 3 years, and are putting our house up for sale. Very loud neighbors, who allow there dogs to bark 24 7. Nice houses in the wrong part of Salem. I will never live in the north side again. "

"I always see people walking their dogs all around my neighborhood. with that being said obviously it must be somewhat of a pleasant safe and secure area for both pet and owner."

"Lots of sirens, busy shopping districts with insane drivers, pedestrians and homeless, stray cats at night, multiple parks not necessarily friendly places."

  • Kevin G.
    North Lancaster, Salem
"I've lived here for twelve years and have encountered nearly only friendly people who walk, jog, or bicycle through the neighborhood regularly. Grade school kids from the local community have been respectful of property, and the area as a whole has been mainly quiet during late evening hours."

    North Lancaster, Salem
"it's close to shopping, gas, liquor, food, clothes, fast food, and restaurants. the only drawback besides needing more street lights, not very many places for the kids to play safely. "
