The absolute rudeness and shortness of the principle of the school needs to be taken a look at, and I hope direct action can be taken if the head of the school is willing to Speak to me in the way he has I cannot imagine how he speaks to students and subordinates. I truly hope the way this man acts does not reflect upon the teachers of the school who are directly responsible of the students, I will be looking for schools thank you principal Leonard.

I wish I had something positive to say about this school-but not one thing. This school is pathetic in every way, sad.

My experience at Halmen Elementary was extremely negative and left a lasting impact on me. The teachers were often rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I especially remember hating school during 3rd through 5th grade because of how I was treated. Instead of being encouraged, I was frequently put down in front of the class, which made me shut down and lose confidence in learning altogether. At the time, I believed I was the problem. Looking back now, I realize that I wasn’t the lack of support, encouragement, and professionalism from the staff significantly affected my educational experience and emotional well being. School should be a place where children feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn, and that was not the environment I experienced here. I would never consider enrolling my child at this school. No child should feel discouraged or belittled by the very people meant to guide and support them.
