"There are no community events. The fire stations do toy drives around the holidays and that’s really it, the shootings and the homeless population make it hard to want to go outside of your home "

"its okay but getting busier with all the people moving here. driving downtown Salem from here takes about 10 to 15 minutes including traffic. the drive to portland metro takes about 40 with no traffic"

"I love my neighborhood. Neighbors are nice and help keep an eye out for each other. Close to many good places to eat and auto parts stores which is a plus for me. "

"All my neighbors help watch over each other and each other’s property. They are all friendly and good people. I’m happy to live on this side of town despite some of the sketchy people you see walking around. "

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFantastic, warm, professional staff. Auburn Elementary made our family’s return to public school fabulous. My child has an IEP and had past negative experiences in Portland Public Schools. None of these difficult issues even came up at Auburn. I’m deeply grateful to everyone here for making our family so at home and accommodating my child.Parent Review5y ago3 Reviews - Four Corners Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has gone so far downhill. Administrative staff here do not have the children’s best interests at heart. While there absolutely are some great teachers, it is an overall toxic environment for children and families, overseen by an overwhelmed district that doesn’t care to properly address it. Shameful.Parent Review2mo ago6 Reviews - Cesar E Chavez Elem
