What Locals Say about National Harbor

  • Neighbor
    National Harbor, Oxon Hill
"I lived in the neighborhood for 13 years. The Neighbourhood is OK but could be better if they did a little more upgrades to Betty Blume Park. The playground needs to be upgraded and Park needs trimmed for tree damage and to be patrolled better at night hours. It is very dark and could use lighting because of the after hour nightly activity. "

"Wouldn’t like that all dog owners do not pick up there dog’s poop… community keeps there dogs locked up behind the fence "

"It’s a mouse trap. There’s only 1 road in and out. The planning and layout is poorly planned. The road is always backed up with traffic. We need a public train. "

"I have lived here for 2 years, it's a good area (not the best) but it is definitely safe and affordable. If you have kids you have a little more space here than you would in the city or across the river in Virginia. We looked at over half a dozen areas/houses before we settled here. Not the city and not out of town - a nice compromise!"
