What Locals Say about Gambrills

  • Bhgm8rzg9f
"Safe place to live. Safe place to play outside. You do not hear a lot of cars passing by. Quiet nights. "
  • Joyce K. B.
"I moved here to get a better commute to downtown. It was better, but started to have a lot of am lane closures on Route 3. Congested on big shopping days from folks parking in front is stores. I wish law enforcement or security would move them along. "
  • Mariza C.
"The area is very safe and it has good schools. It is closer to main highways and it has everything you need closed by like restaurants, shopping, and entertainment!"
  • Smwelch11
"We are in Arundle View and it is such a nice neighborly area. Quiet, safe, and close to shopping and schools. We love it here. "
  • Taneshia H.
"I’m not sure I have a dog and I’m pretty neutral, she stays inside post of the time. Most of my neighbors have dogs as well."
  • Ben P.
"Small suburban community with great people surrounded by the best areas and all within 3 of the best cities Maryland has to offer"
  • Fleonber39
"Parades, farmers market, Crofton Festival, community pools, natural trails, youth sports "
  • Sggray203
"I specifically chose this area because it has great schools and it is very diverse. Gambrills also has great shopping (Waugh Chapel is so convenient... it does come with a little traffic congestion but I think it's worth it!) while still maintaining the comfortable "neighborhood" feeling. I love it!"
  • John M.
"Dog owners would love the available paths and the friendly neighbor within the hood. There have been instances where people with u trained dogs will cross the street or steer clear of you. If you want to socialize your dog there are dog parks where they can roam freely."
  • John M.
"I travel twenty miles towards The nations capital. It is light traffic in the morning and a parking lot in the afternoon. There are four lanes of crazies going 80+ miles per hour. It takes a minuet to get used to then you become one yourself."
  • Jmfogle
"Amazing, quiet, sylvan, secluded feel, although it's still close to everything. I loved living here but the military moved me away and it's unfortunately time to sell this lovely home."
  • Bcook2000
"It is quiet and private. Neighbors are not really close, but close enough to look out for one another"
  • Dmack366
"Most of my block looks out for each other and are very friendly. I also have family in the area. There is a lot of pride in the community and the area shows. "
  • Lmarie d.
"It’s a great location! Great school district, a lot to do in this town. Lots of variety of food and shopping."
  • Tcsummers
"It's a transient neighborhood. Most people are here for military work, stay a few years and then leave. It doesn't feel like a cohesive community and I would prefer better restaurant and grocery options."
  • daverunner79
"Very convienent to I97, Rt 3, Ft Meade, Baltimore and DC (via Rt 50)."
