Bitter Lake

Every single person working at BT, teachers and staff, are giving 110% effort, no question. This school has an EXTREMELY diverse population (racially, socioeconomically, ELL, culturally, etc), which, yes, is going to affect the test scores, as you'll see here. However, I would say that the skills my child is learning, both academically and socially, are as good as he would get in most public schools, and in some areas much greater.

CKS is a great school where kids feel safe and valued. We came from a big school where it felt like no one had the time for our kids and have found a welcoming community at CKS where the administration knows our kids and the teachers are amazing. The challenging academics are taught in a way that makes it fun to learn and they have a great STEM program. These are opportunities that we did not have at public schools. Our kids are so happy!

A rare opportunity for children to participate in a 100% language immersion program! We love the what this school has provided for our children. Parent involvement is excellent and the classes are small, especially in the older grades.
