We were nervous going in as the reviews leave something to be desired...but the leadership is excellent and we've had nothing but good experiences here. Thankful for a great community, wonderful teachers and so much diversity.

We came from a big school where it felt like no one had the time for our kids and have found a welcoming community at CKS where the administration knows our kids and the teachers are amazing. The challenging academics are taught in a way that makes it fun to learn and they have a great STEM program. These are opportunities that we did not have at public schools. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not understand the negative reviews below. The Evergreen School is a place that preaches and teaches kindness, acceptance and inclusion of all. The below reviews make it seem like acceptance of all is a bad thing. I want my kids at a school where they are accepted and where kids are taught to be kind. Evergreen focuses on the whole child. The academics are challenging and kids are met where they are academically. There is also so much focus on SEL, which is critical for the gifted population. In the "All Kinder Meeting" on Monday mornings in Kindergarten, kids learn about a different SEL topic, such as respect, kindness, friendship, gratitude. This is a wonderful example of the school's approach to SEL. In response to the negative reviews below - if you want your kids to be closed-minded, hateful and judgmental, then please don't send them here. Evergreen is a wonderful place for joyful learning and producing kind, creative, inclusive and well-rounded kids.
