We are so incredibly pleased with this school. Our family has seen significant academic growth in our children since moving here. Most importantly our children tell us they feel cared for and happy going to this school. The administration is highly involved and gets to know students and families personally.

Besides one I didn't care for last year, all the teachers have been wonderful. The staff clearly care about the kids and I see that every day in the hallways during pick up and drop off. They greet the kids by name often and keep it positive. Public school can be a nightmare, but this one clearly is not - I'm staying in this neighborhood just to keep sending my child here. I don't relate to some of the other recent reviews posted here. I think they go above and beyond for the kids.

My daughter said she was being bullied and harassed. She also said one of her friends got inappropriately touched by another student and nobody did anything. I'm not sure if she is lying but just to be on the safe side I'm putting here. Stay safe out there!

We had high hopes about Chandler Oaks - most of our online research was positive (with some complaints about arbitrary decisions from the principal, which we should have taken as a sign). Our son is zoned for the school, but we had him in private school about 15 minutes away from our home and wanted to see if a closer alternative would be a better option. We were incredibly disappointed when dealing with the administration - I called 4 times and left messages for both the registrar and the front office which were never returned. I resorted to looking up the emails for the registrar and the principal, and asked if they would meet with us (we had several questions that couldn't be answered by their website or the district's website). What I got was a lot of bureaucratic and ill-informed responses. When I asked several questions related to our situation that I couldn't find answers for online, both the registrar and the principal said we would need a call "as it is a lot of information to include in an email" but the principal couldn't schedule a call for a week. She also misunderstood our enrollment status and where we were zoned and told us she couldn't approve a transfer and that 2nd grade was closed (I told her we were zoned for her school, but I guess she didn't read that part). Instead of a call, I asked if it would be possible to meet for 30 minutes, so we could see the inside of the school (and possibly bring our son to see it, so he wouldn't be anxious on the first day of class) and was told the school only offers tours during the school year by the counselor and that the principal wouldn't meet with us "I do not meet with parents until children are enrolled in my school. This is a common practice amongst administrators and schools in RRISD." were her exact words (which we know is not true because we have friends who are principals in RRISD and they confirmed there is no such policy). After getting such disappointing answers, lack of accommodation and generally unfriendly treatment, we decided not to proceed any further. We took all this unprofessional behavior as a sign that Chandler Oaks specifically is not the right fit for us. So my advice is don't waste your time - there are better options in the district and lots of charter and private school options then having to deal with this principal who can't be bothered to meet with prospective parents and students. No wonder their enrollment is declining.

As a parent, I had high hopes for Round Rock Christian Academy, but sadly, my experience has been far from positive. The curriculum feels outdated and does not adequately challenge students, leaving them unprepared for high school and beyond. I have also noticed a lack of communication from the administration; important updates and events often come too late or not at all, which has created confusion and frustration among parents. Furthermore, the school culture is not as inclusive as one might expect; it seems to lack diversity, making it difficult for some students to find their place or feel accepted. Overall, I am deeply disappointed and regret my decision to enroll my child here. I believe there are far better options out there that truly care about their students’ growth and well-being. This school needs to be shut down.
