Cactus Ranch Elementary School

Absolutely LOVE Fern Bluff. Great school, teachers and parents involvement. Within walking distance of most homes located in Stone Canyon. Both my children attended and were very prepared for middle school and excelled in High School. Fern Bluffs high score rankings is why we moved to the neighborhood and never regretted it. Highly recommend.

Besides one I didn't care for last year, all the teachers have been wonderful. The staff clearly care about the kids and I see that every day in the hallways during pick up and drop off. They greet the kids by name often and keep it positive. Public school can be a nightmare, but this one clearly is not - I'm staying in this neighborhood just to keep sending my child here. I don't relate to some of the other recent reviews posted here. I think they go above and beyond for the kids.

My daughter said she was being bullied and harassed. She also said one of her friends got inappropriately touched by another student and nobody did anything. I'm not sure if she is lying but just to be on the safe side I'm putting here. Stay safe out there!

While our family had a positive experience at Chandler Oaks several years ago, our more recent experience with our second child has been disappointing. Over the last two years, we have noted a decline in both teacher engagement and school-to-home communication. Also, limited campus access for families has made it difficult to feel integrated into the school community. It's surprising that it has such a high rating as that has not been our experience.

As a parent, I had high hopes for Round Rock Christian Academy, but sadly, my experience has been far from positive. The curriculum feels outdated and does not adequately challenge students, leaving them unprepared for high school and beyond. I have also noticed a lack of communication from the administration; important updates and events often come too late or not at all, which has created confusion and frustration among parents. Furthermore, the school culture is not as inclusive as one might expect; it seems to lack diversity, making it difficult for some students to find their place or feel accepted. Overall, I am deeply disappointed and regret my decision to enroll my child here. I believe there are far better options out there that truly care about their students’ growth and well-being. This school needs to be shut down.

My daughter has been going to this school since she was 2; she is now in 1st grade. I can not say enough good about the school, the leadership, the teacher retention has been the most amazing. The same people who have been leading her and academically raising her the same people this whole time. She has changed teachers however the same teachers are there that have been in the different stages with each other, and with her. It feels like a extended family. I am beyond thankful for this school and all the people who make it what it is. My daughter has been with Ms. Harris (LOVE HER); Mrs. Wright (LOVE HER); Mrs. Coy; Mr. Parker, Mrs. Snyder; Pastor Wright; Mrs. Alvarez; .... We LOVE them ALL! I would 100% HIGHLY recommend this school.
