8/10Calificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresThe is THE GREATEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL any of my children have ever been to! They take pride in their students And their families. I’ve never felt more support when it comes to my child than I have at SES. Mrs. Barker is an outstanding principal who goes above and beyond for all kiddos. My sons 4K and Kindergarten teachers were heaven sent! Waylon wouldn’t be where he is at today academically and socially if it weren’t for Ms. Mizell, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Fogle and Ms. Barnard!!! Having a child with severe ADHD and not medicating him means he will need someone with a big heart and a lot of patience to help him thrive. He got just that. They want him to succeed just as much as I do and that means the whole world to us. The fact that they didn’t push me to start him on meds also meant so much. My boy is thriving because of his school. We are a PROUD SEA TURTLE FAMILY!Parent Revisar4y ago5 Reseñas - James H. Spann Elementary School

NACalificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresMy child was treated poorly. He was made to eat a sandwich out of the trash.Bullied and there was abuse by other kids that did not get reported to the parents. My child went from an A student to hating school. I wish we never enrolled them here, the school should have been closed sooner.Parent Revisar1y ago9 Reseñas - Summerville Catholic School

NACalificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresOur family has been so grateful for the community we’ve found at this school. The small teacher-to-student ratio allows teachers to truly know and support each child, while providing a strong, challenging academic curriculum that keeps our son engaged and motivated. We love that Christ and faith are woven into the everyday learning experience. Our son feels accepted and valued by both his teachers and peers, which means the world to us as parents. The athletic opportunities have also been a wonderful way for him to grow in confidence and teamwork. We truly feel blessed to be part of this school family.Parent Revisar4mo ago39 Reseñas - New Alpha Christian School

7/10Calificación de GreatSchoolsClasificación promedio de los padresI attended this school from 2nd to 5th grade, and I remember absolutely loving it. The activities were always very fun and creativity focused and in my experience the teachers and staff were extremely supportive. Not sure if they still do this but when I went on half days they would be club days and all students were required to join a club. There were tons of variety in the choices and I really love the idea of, for lack of better words, forcing kids to participate in those clubs and helping them to find things they enjoy while making friends with their peers. Feild days always included tons of activities and other events like color runs and dances were always enjoyable both during and out of school hours. I remember hating every time when they would have counselors come into class and teach about expressing feelings healthily and general mental health awareness but looking back, I think it's absolutely amazing that they cared to educate us on things like that while we were young. Seeing as I was a child I can't speak much on the actual quality of education but I do recall it being very parent involved and test scores look high so I guess they're doing pretty good in that regard. Cafeteria food was about as good as cafeteria food can be and the variety in play areas they had when I attended (2 playgrounds, a courtyard, laps around the carpool lane, and a small grassy area) was enjoyable and I rarely found myself bored. With all that being said, I haven't been at this school in nearly 5 years but if they still run it like they did back then I totally recommend it.Other Revisar1y ago7 Reseñas
