Read what parents are saying about Dr. Eugene Sires ElementaryMy son has made a great deal of reading progress between kindergarten and 4th grade. He always loves his teachers and tries to do rise.to their expectations.
Posted by a parent on 11/8/2023We had a great first year. Kindergarten was good. Our first grade teacher was not supportive and new. Not a good school for brown boys. There was incidents where the principal wanted to suspend a first grader while other kids got away with everything. I put my son in another school where administration says he is thriving and a pleasure to have in class. The difference is the new school actually cares, has real resources and has great teachers. It’s great to be an environment where teachers support my rather than tear him down.

Sad that you have to sell your home and buy another house to be in a better schoolParent Review4y ago - Summerville Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe is THE GREATEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL any of my children have ever been to! They take pride in their students And their families. I’ve never felt more support when it comes to my child than I have at SES. Mrs. Barker is an outstanding principal who goes above and beyond for all kiddos. My sons 4K and Kindergarten teachers were heaven sent! Waylon wouldn’t be where he is at today academically and socially if it weren’t for Ms. Mizell, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Fogle and Ms. Barnard!!! Having a child with severe ADHD and not medicating him means he will need someone with a big heart and a lot of patience to help him thrive. He got just that. They want him to succeed just as much as I do and that means the whole world to us. The fact that they didn’t push me to start him on meds also meant so much. My boy is thriving because of his school. We are a PROUD SEA TURTLE FAMILY!Parent Review1y ago - James H. Spann Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could go back and change one thing in my life, it would be that I sent my child to this school. He has gone from a straight A student to a child who is struggling, and the teachers never bothered to even say anything.Parent Review4y ago - Summerville Catholic School

The care for the children can be seen in everything from the events planned, to the curriculum for the children, to the learning environment.Parent Review1mo ago
