NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is absolutely horrific. People who aren't on the payroll are allowed to make major decisions for the school and the community. This is definitely a Catholic in name alone school. Good luck working there - the faculty will stab you in the back and talk badly about you to everyone they know. They will purposely mislead you to make you look as bad as possible. The spending is as close to 0 as possible. Teachers would actually PAY for their own subs. The salary is unlivable. Pennies. Oh, and they waste so much time talking about things that are NOT IMPORTANT. In short, I can't say enough bad things about this school. Do not send your kids here. Do not let your family or friends work here. These people do not care about you, or the well-being of your families. My only consolation is knowing they will meet their Maker someday, Who will judge them accordingly.Other Review1mo ago16 Reviews - Town & Country Day School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a waste of valuable, precious time. I enrolled my daughter for pre-k because I wanted her to have a head start before entering Kindergarten. I was wrong, sorely mistaken and misled. My poor baby learned absolutely nothing, nothing at all. And what I what I was teaching her at home/and what she learned at a previous center before being enrolled here (yes, my daughter was already learning before pre-k) she began to forget and doubt herself. I was expecting this facility to be a small close knit institution of learning that would teach the kids. My daughter learned absolutely nothing. It was like her brain was melting while attending and she did not like the school at all. She always cried every morning before drop off. She didn’t want to be there. She was sad withdrawn and did not blossom at all. When the year was over it felt like it was too long of a year and no progress was made in my daughter’s education. She reverted in everything that she had known, was having trouble writing her name or telling me letter sounds which she knew before starting at this pre-k program. She never came home singing nursery rhymes, she never counted or engaged in any learning that you would expect from a child in a full day pre-k. I was so angry, sad, regretful and disappointed once the year was finally over. My daughter began to say she hated school. And I could not believe a faith based school could do so much damage. This was supposed to kick start her love of learning and give her the edge she needed to excel in Kindergarten but my poor child was sad, drained and exhausted from this place. Not to me too. The early Fridays which were never disclosed to me when enrolling and the many closings throughout the year. I had to take so much paid and unpaid time from work and had no vacation time left after dealing with the constant and repeated closures. This school is not free and goes on the long list of under performing and failing schools in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. This state does not take learning seriously and there are many school open and ready to take your tuition and spoil your children’s potential. As a parent I give this school zero stars. Totally Incompetent teachers from what I have experienced, sub par laissez faire adults parading around as educators. There is a serious problem of unlearning in the schools in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This is both in public and private schools. Just packed with schools that produce poorly trained/educated students.Parent Review8mo ago9 Reviews - Circle School
