Harmony is special. The environment is inclusive, warm, and welcoming. My child will soon be entering her last year of Primary (Kindergarten) here, and I'm so grateful she's had this start in her education journey. Research shows social-emotional readiness and independence skills are the most important things to focus on to prepare for elementary school, and Harmony could not do a better job in these areas. The social-emotional education provided here is unbelievable (a whole classroom is even dedicated to it), and the school partners extremely well with MECP to help children who need more tools.In addition to the value provided by a strong Montessori education and talented guides, Harmony brings in the best of other philosophies. My child uses her imagination in the greatest of ways on the natural playground, enjoys learning in the garden, and embraces all types of weather. Both through using the art materials available in the classroom and the standalone art room, she's fallen in love with process art and knows the value of her individuality. I don't know that I can do our experience justice here, but I am very thankful for it.
