"I have lived here for two years, and have found it to be a very nice neighborhood. My immediate neighbors have been very friendly, and iI have seen no signs of problems. The vast majority of the homes are well kept, with many of the homeowners doing typical maintenance for homes that are 20 years old."

"Not as nice a neighborhood as we originally thought. Too many gunshots, drag racing, cops constantly. "

"Great homes nice community but definitely needs some help with patrolling and neighborhood watch. Great schools and lots of restaurants. Bad phone reception in this area."

"It's a soul draining area. dont live here unless you cant afford anything else. it's getting worst than the war zone. transients walk all over and every time you go to any of the businesses near by guaranteed you will get hit up for money. "

"Cars tend to drive by too fast sometimes. Whether it be at night or during the mornings before school I would keep the kids close incase the driver isn’t paying attention to the speed limit or those around them."

"This street I live on needs speed humps. Inconsiderate drivers speed up and down the street. Loud dirt bikes frequent the neighborhood too. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 13 years and I feel safe better than others cities. Traffic is the only thing that scare me the most, specially in the morning. friendly neighbors, what more can I ask for. "

"Houses have big back yards here. It’s quiet most of the time. Although we may not know all our neighbors names we are respectful toward another however people tent to drive fast on this street to avoid the next street with speed humps "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 6 years it's full of broken glass needles and vacant houses! I don't recommend it for families, you don't want your children growing up with these neglected children! "

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with this school has been deeply disappointing, especially when it comes to safety and how concerns are handled. Issues that should be taken seriously are often minimized or brushed aside. Instead of addressing problems directly, staff tend to downplay situations and hope they disappear on their own. There is also a noticeable pattern of inconsistent treatment from teachers and staff, which at times feels discriminatory. Students and families deserve to be heard and treated fairly, but that has not been my experience.Unfortunately, both the principal and vice principal seem more focused on collecting a paycheck than actively supporting students or resolving concerns. They rarely listen fully, they dismiss valid issues, and they give the impression that they simply want you to stop asking questions.A school should be a safe, supportive environment, and leadership should set that tone. Right now, this school is falling short in those areas.Parent Review4mo ago11 Reviews - Maryann Binford Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMary Ann Binford Elementary has been an amazing school for my family over the years. I’ve had kids in grades K-5 here, and I’ve seen firsthand how much this school has grown and improved. My youngest is currently in kindergarten, and I’m so impressed by how much he has already learned!I’ve had the opportunity to work with several administrators over the years, but Principal Nieto is by far my favorite. She has brought incredible energy and leadership to the school, making so many positive changes. The addition of the new makerspace is such an exciting upgrade, and I’ve noticed a clear improvement in academics and test scores under her leadership. What truly sets the school apart now is its welcoming culture and sense of community. Principal Nieto and the staff have created an environment where families feel valued and included. I can’t recommend Mary Ann Binford Elementary enough for families looking for a school that truly prioritizes their students’ success and well-being!Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Edward Gonzales Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son had a really bad experience in this school with bulling. We reported this several times with the teacher and the principal. We took it to APS and nobody did anything. I’m glad the school year it’s almost over. My son will be going to the different t school.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews - Helen Cordero Primary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst school ever my son has been getting bullied his teacher nurse principal and counselor knows about it my son does not want to go to school anymore school does nothing to pro text the students and to keep them safe all they do is defend the teacher and call Cyfd all because my son is getting hit at the point where he has marks on his arms and refuses to take off his jackets to avoid getting bruised up again they even deleted my class dojo because I “threatened” them by saying if they are not going to do anything to protect my son then I will take actions myself. This school is a joke but too quick to call Cyfd and the cops on me.Parent Review1mo ago12 Reviews - Tower Road Christian Academy
